Benjamin and Oliver Goethe will wrap up the 2023 season together, joining forces at the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi next weekend with Garage 59.

The Goethe brothers started the season together, taking class victory at the Dubai 24 Hours in a Mercedes AMG GT4, and now they step it up a notch, closing 2023 with a joint entry at the final GT3 race on the motorsport calendar.
Benjamin isn’t new to the race or the car as he finished in second place at the 2022 running of the Gulf 12 Hours with Garage 59, his first race with the team and the McLaren 720S Evo. Since then, the McLaren Junior Pro driver has been steering the car throughout the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series and GT World Challenge Europe championships.
Oliver however has some catching up to do, fresh off his first FIA F2 test at the Yas Marina Circuit, The Red Bull Junior driver will jump into the McLaren for the first time next weekend.
The two ROFGO Juniors will share the Garage 59 McLaren with Shaun Balfe (GBR)  and Mark Sansom (GBR).

Benjamin Goethe

“It’s a cool way to end the season. We had a great race here last year, finishing P2 with Garage 59 and I hope we can do one better this time. It’s always good fun to share a car with Ollie and I’m looking forward to doing it again.”

Oliver Goethe

“Although I’ve raced single-seaters for most of the season, I am excited to jump back into a GT car again! This will be my first race in a GT3 car, and it’s cool to do it with my brother. It’s been an intense few weeks with a lot of new experiences and I feel like all of these make me a better driver.”

Stuart Hall, Motorsports Director, ROFGO Racing

“Both boys have had a busy season, so it is nice to end it together just how they started it. Ollie will have another first, but there is no better person to learn from than Benji who raced the McLaren all year long. This will be another special race for us at ROFGO and I hope they’ll come home with another trophy.”

The race weekend kicks off on Friday, December 8 with three test sessions. The 2023 Gulf 12 Hours goes green on Sunday, December 10 at 10:00 local time.
The qualifying and the race will be broadcast on YouTube
