BENJAMIN GOETHE RE-SIGNS WITH GARAGE 59 FOR FULL GT WORLD CHALLANGE EUROPE CAMPAIGN

McLaren Junior Pro driver Benjamin Goethe stays with Garage 59 for a second season and will race in the 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Endurance and Sprint Cups in the PRO class.

McLaren Junior Pro driver Benjamin Goethe joined Garage 59 at the end of 2022 for the Gulf 12 Hours and raced the entire 2023 season behind the wheel of a McLaren 720S GT3 Evo in the Asian Le Mans Series, Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe and the Gulf 12 Hours. While last year was all about learning and developing the car he is now ready to fight for overall podiums and wins in one of the most competitive GT championships in the world.

Benjamin will be back in the #159 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo with two new teammates. He will share the car in the Sprint Cup with McLaren factory driver Tom Gamble, and they will be joined by Dean Macdonald for the Endurance Cup races, including the legendary 24 Hours of Spa.

Benjamin Goethe:

“I am happy to stay with Garage 59 for 2024 to continue what we started last year. I know the car and the team well and raced at almost all tracks on the calendar except Jeddah, but that’s going to be an even playing field for all the teams and drivers. We have a strong lineup and the goal is to fight for podiums from the start.”

Stuart Hall, Motorsport Director ROFGO Racing:

“This is an important year for Benji. He must step off from some really positive results last year and fight for race wins. He’s got two good teammates and a great team behind him. I’ve personally seen how hard he’s worked over the winter so it’s all to play for.”
